Title: Tayden True Brit and Celestion G12M Heritage
Post by: 5F6-A on December 30, 2019, 06:15:22 PM
I have combined these two Greenback style speakers to see how they sound together. The Tayden is hard panned to the right. The Celestion is hard panned to the left. The Tayden is smoother and richer on the low mids. The Celestion is brighter and more cutting with a great high mid sonic bias. Do you think they work well together?

That is a very nice sound. Mixing speakers is for sure a good idea. You have the whole spectrum covered. I have a Hook 2x12 cab with a ET90 (like a Celestion G12-65) and a Veteran.

ET90 and Veteran 30 sound sick together.

ET90 and Veteran 30 sound sick together.

They do, yet compared to Celestions they might be a tad less agressive, especially in the topend. For me a good thing as my amps are agressive enough.
