Hi all,
It's been a long time since I've been active on the site and surprised activity hasn't been as good as it used to be. Been happy with my Calibrated sets (MM in PRS, PK in ESP, HD in schecter V and CS neck/C-Bomb bridge in Schecter V) and now have a new Mahogany flying V to treat.
Was aiming to buy covered Blackhawk alnico calibrated set. Does anyone have decent thrash style clips (rhythm and lead) at all?
Having gone through loads of youtube stuff the Blackhawks sound fat as well as tight and what I'm looking for. Found the Jugs thinner sounding.
Please submit any decent clips if you can.
The kind of stuff I play is mainly thrash and melodic death metal tuned at variations between E flat, D standard and drop C as in this Miracle man clip years ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSxRi3GkyTg&t=41s
Many thanks

See this preview of my band's new album
It is all alnico Black Hawk bridge on this track. Unfortunately no flashy leads or thrash on this one. We have solos on the other four songs, but we're holding those back for the album release sorry.

Tuning is C standard. Both guitars have D'Addario EXL117 strings, 11-56
Both amps are Peaveys. JSX crunch channel in the left speaker, 6534+ lead channel on the right.
