Hi - just a timely reminder that the London Guitar Show is zooming up upon us (May 6th-8th - Wembley Exhibition Centre)
Tim has a fun and packed stand as ever !!
4 Full Marshall Stacks....
Lots of Keeley effects to try and stacks of pickups for sale
And this year - we'll be there (Feline Guitars)
We aim to bring along about 10-12 of our lovely handcrafted guitars loaded with Bare Knuckles for people to try out.
We hope to bring at least 3 from our Southpaw (left handed) range so lefties can get to sample the sound of BKPs and Feline Guitars.
We were on the stand opposite BKP last year and spent the whole weekend digging the sound of the pickups, so this year really looking forward to being on the stand, and seeing/hearing the pickups put through their paces on our guitars.
We feel that there is a great joint synergy - fine UK handcrafted axes and fine UK handwound pickups.

See you all there if you get along....

I'm not LP fan, but that is a beautiful guitar!
I'm a few thousand miles away, so I'm afraid I can't make it ... plus, the show is on the same weekend as the KENTUCKY DERBY!!!
-
I'm still waiting to find out if I'm working the show or not. If not I'll be making my way down for a day and I'll be there, hopefully molesting your guitars and making a racket!

DUDE, just realised R/2e is from tunbridge wells, say hello to Doogz from sevenoaks, my band played the T-wells forum a month ago, and i go to the snoooker club there every other weekend or so :D!
-
Hi Doogz, respect to people from Sevenoaks!! Any guitar work you need doing, including free fitting of Bareknuckles ordered from us, just give me a call. I'm a little....er.....mature to be going to the Forum, but my son goes regularly and has played there - what's your band's name? (A plug does no-one any harm!).
Looks like I'l be going to the LGS on Friday, customers want to drop off/collect guitars on Saturday, most inconvenient!
-
Kool man, yeah im not a big fan of the TW forum myself, but when it needs to be played it needs to be played.
My bands called Silver Electric; we are fairly new on the local scene , 7 gigs in the last 7 months though!
What shop do u work at? its kinda random you said that lol becasue just as i read this im compiling letters to write to music shops in Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Tunwells, as im hoping to get myself a summer job, and due to my immense love of the guitar, thought that there could be nothing better than working with them!
Whats your sons band called?
CHeers,
Doogz

I'm going, looking forward to trying some BK's and some keeley effects. :D
Can't wait. :D

What shop do u work at?
Hi Doogz, I don't work in a shop, but I do repairs for Beat 'n Track in Tonbridge. Most of my work comes in from my website though, certainly the bigger stuff like restorations and refinishes.
-
Oh right, i go to school just up the road from beat 'n' track, at Judd :P; ive been in the store a few times, just for strings and plectrums really, the guys ive spoken to there have been nice enough, who knows i may have even spoken to / seen you in there. is ure son currently in a band, if so what are they called?
Cheers,
Doogz
-
Judd hey? (Bows down in respect!) You'd only ever see me in Beat 'n Track on a Saturday morning, and I'm the short fat hairy one drinking coffee. No my son isn't currently in a band, he finished Uni last year and is working his butt off instead :D and not before time :D :D He's a good metal guitarist though, taught by Jamie Humphries (Guitar Techniques etc).
