I have half a dozen different guitars but all I want to play, time and again, is my Charvel dk24 HT (Tunes down half a step) with a Silo bridge. It has a Cold Sweat neck also but I pretty much only use the bridge pickup on this guitar. The silo just sounds so great to me. Tons of sustain, sounds good up and down the board, it even cleans up decently when I roll the volume back. I use a line 6 hx stomp with a powercab plus and a few pedals. It works well with a lot of different amp profiles.
I just ordered a maple and alder Kiesel Solo S6 (tele body shape, bolt on neck) and I am looking for another BKP that痴 equally awesome. I haven稚 loved my c-bomb or cold sweat bridges near as much, I think maybe I知 not a ceramic magnet guy.
Been considering a holy diver, juggernaut, or vhII, maybe even an abraxas. Any suggestions?

In general alnico magnets in the same pickup are thicker in the low mids and have a nicer high end.
Ceramics tend to have more definition and less warmth.

The juggernaut will probably be good for you too if you are an alnico man. I understand what you mean, I think ceramic is also not all for me. Juggs are versatile but also tight in spite of being both alnico and ceramic

I'm surprised there hasn't been more talk of the Silo set here. I hear they cover a lot of ground.

Yeah I took a chance on the silo since it's so new, it only came out last November. Wound up being my favorite so far, by far. I got mine with the "Bea" drawing on the cover and all my friends are like "Hey is that Bob Ross?" :afro:
