Post by: mfc_pj on May 01, 2006, 08:30:27 AM
My set of Mississippi Queen arrived. I'm gonna put them into an Epiphone Riviera with fullsize humbucker. Now the Problem, I want to change the electronics too and I don't know how's the best way to do that on a hollowbody. Do you have tips for me?

I heard that a good thing to do is cut the old pickup wires near to the pickup, then solder the new wires onto this, so you dont have to get to the pots if that makes sense. When you say you are redoing the electrics does that mean pots etc too then? If so.. I have no idea

yes, the pots to. somehow how I wired this thing. I did it exactly like the phat cat schematic on the seymour duncan page says but something is wrong, the both volume pots word the reverse way and the bridge tone pot has no influence on the sound. what did I wrong????
