Ino there was a thread about this recently but i cant find it.
Just to confirm...a cover for BKP will slghtly round off the highs and lows...but wont reduce output at all due to the slight alterations to the wind?
-
i remembered reading somewhere here that some extra winds might be given to calibrate the output for cover pickups. dont quote me though..

:P
But in seriousness, I think Tim winds the pickups slightly differently to compensate for the covers.

Only if the pickup requires it. Traditionally, the cover is thought to roll off some of the highs. I can't tell from the thread starter if you WANT the highs rolled off or not. Either way, be specific with what you want, and buy with confidence that the pickup will rule!!
