Title: Trilogy Suite in bridge and Sultans in middle and neck -- how to wire it?
Post by: wonderingquestion on September 07, 2020, 10:26:21 AM
I've been considering putting a Trilogy Suite in the bridge and Sultans in the middle and neck. I need a bit hotter bridge/middle position, The guitar will only have a master volume and a middle/neck tone control. What pot values or caps would you recommend? Someone on the Seymour Duncan forum suggested 250k pots and a .033 cap.

250k for single coils, all your 3 are singles. 500k volume pot would add a lot of highs to the pups which you might not really like

I think the advice you've been given is good.  0.033uF sounds about right.  I have that cap with a Stockholm P-90 and 500K pots but the Trilogy Suite would be better with a 250k IMHO

If I went with a Trilogy Suite set, would you still recommend .033 for the tone control?
