Title: Schecter PT Apocalypse Rusty Grey with an Impulse set
Post by: Dave Sloven on May 10, 2021, 10:08:12 AM
Schecter PT Apocalypse Rust Grey with an Impulse set.  Woods are swamp ash body and bolt-on maple neck, 12-16" compound radius ebony fretboard with 22 XJ stainless steel frets.

The neck pickup hole had to be modified slightly to fit the squarer bobbins

I also fitted a Black TUSQ XL string tree, a DiMarzio ClipLock strap, and stuffed a cavity under the pickguard with foam and rags to stop feedback on sustained chords (it was behaving like a semi-acoustic).

I'm waiting for an order to arrive from Bare Knuckle that includes some extra pots, caps, and switches in addition to a Cobra-T / Impulse combo for my Squier Contemporary Telecaster RH, and then I will rewire the control panel to finish the mods for this guitar.

Looking pretty good at the moment!  I've had a ceramic Black Hawk in the bridge for a short while but I've moved that to my Schecter C-1 Blackjack ATX, one of my darkest guitars.

I have since swapped the 20P out for a 22W and adjusted the intonation to suit.  Much better
