What's up guys! I'm so happy right now, I'm freaking out...The Nailbomb's have landed. I can't wait to get them installed, but I will get pictures up of them au naturel and uninstalled.
-
excellent- heres looking forward to the pics and your thoughts.
-
They will blow your socks off
-
Awesome, they should sound like angels singing with a mouthful of whiskey (a good thing) :D
-
Yup have the nailbomb in my parker sounds great....clean or distorted
-
Here they are:

Wow looks like the 4th German Panzer devision has just rolled through your letter box.
I swear on the side of the box there should be some of that cool Nazi style writing saying 'Achtung!!!' or something like that.
-
good stuff 8)
now get them installed and tell us what you think!

HA! Man, that would be funny, but so politically incorrect.
I really can't wait to hear how they are but I'm sure they'll make my Marshall DSL sound beastly awesome.
-
So...these babies get along with the Marshall DSL?? :D

I have no idea...It sucks because I have had a bunch of gigs and I can't get my guitar worked on until the middle of next week, earliest. My EMGs sound really good with my DSL...so, the BKPs will definitley be bettter.
-
Tell us once they're on
i also own a DSL
-
They're on and they sound FANTASTIC! I think they're louder than my EMGs and thicker, which is a welcome thing believe me. The tech messed up though and wired the mega-switch (5 way switch) out of phase but the neck and bridge positions sound excellent. The cleans at the neck and bridge sound very very good and the distortion from the bridge position is nice and chunky, but NOT FLABBY. It's pretty tight and has excellent tone. Leads are so nice- thick and tight and articulate. You probably won't need to switch to that neck position for a real smooth lead sound. In fact, the nailbomb would probably be the best pickup for a single humbucker guitar. So much depth to them. They really are very good. I can't wait until they're set up correctly so then I can really do some shredding/wood shedding.

Thanks for the review
-
Interesting stuff- I have suggested to a friend of mine that he puts NBs in his Epi. I shall grind him into submission.

No offense but that's not saying much lol ;)

Yeah...noooo kiddin!

I would say, if you do want to get the most out of your amp get an EQ pedal and a handy little thing called a "Sonic Stomp Sonic Maximizer" by BBE. It brings your sound to the forefront and I could not believe how well EQ and the Sonic Stomp work to get the whole rig to sound tip top and let those NBs shine!
-
Damn, they sound nice. I was thinking of going with Nailbombs for my next order, if my first ever gets here! It's almost been a month now and still no pups. For the first two weeks it was like waking up to Christmas each morning... now it's like "Oh, they're not here, what a surprise."
I hate customs  .
-
Some do take longer than others...but it's worth the wait.
-
Oh, I'm not hating on the BK's. It's just such a crime to have a guitar wait that long for such a nice tone.
-
Hah! I know, I know...but it's great when they arrive...Tim is hard at work, so don't worry soooo much.
-
Oh I'm not, I understand Tim's hard work he puts in these. I'm glad there's at least one pickup company out there that will always give you what all musician's desire -- the perfect tone :D . I'll be a Bare Knuckle user for the rest of my life :drink: .
