Title: Pickup Advise

So I have a new guitar that needs some pickups.  The guitar us swamp ash with a burl top.  Maple and walnut set neck construction.  Ebony board.  I'm thinking about the Alnico V Nailbombs.  I was thinking at the alnico version for a fatter bass response.  We tune to Drop C#.  We play hard rock, with a few metal tendencies...lol!

Alnico Nailbombs would probably work well, they're very aggressive.  If you want less high-end aggression consider the Rebel Yells, or possibly the Holydiver if you want something fatter and thicker in the bridge.  The Nailbombs will probably do very well though, just understand that they are much higher output and more aggressive (to me at least) than the description might have you believe.
