Hi Guys,
You may or may not remember me harping on about the album i was recording, well its now finally finished and ready to go. I have posted some of the tracks in the players room and the album features only BK pickups. 11 tracks,48 minutes of various guitar tones and styles. if anyone is interested they are only £4.99 a copy and ill include P+ P.
Thanks for your time, Steve.

Thanks mate! Ill PM you tomorrow (going gigging now) with some details and yes i can take paypal. Cheers!

Nice one - I'm heading over there now to have a listen. Be sure to get plenty of promotional copies that you can send out to websites, and that should attract interest so you can get more sales. Guitar9 is a great site for getting publicity and sales for instrumental albums, and I'd be more than happy to sort out a review for Shredaholic.com's instrumental and shred album review section.

steve..
great stuff!!
had it on in the car this week :)
really impressed..great tones and playing all the way through.
BUT
you left out my favourate track :(
The one that had the mothers milk on, with a cool melody through the verses and had a slow arppegio bit in the middle and an insane ultra widdle solo at the end... (cold sweat?)
If you still have that mp3 itd be great if you could email\post it up again.. one of my fav clips.. seem to have misplace it during HD clean up and its gone off here :( :(
-
Thanks Chrisola, i was hoping you would like it.
The other track was recorded on a smaller multitracker whereas the album "liquideyes" was done on a more pro recording studio.
I like that track but it would have really stood out from the others.
Ill get you a copy via email.
Thanks for the review,
Steve.

Got it this morning Steve and am playing it now. Great stuff. Favourites on first playing are Stratosfear and Asbo.
-
Hi Tellboy, thanks for the message. ASBO is one of my favourites as well. Its a dark horse lurking at the back of the album, can you guess what BK pickup was on the van halen style riff on that track? Abraxas,Mule or Crawler? Your time starts now.

The only one of the three I've played is the Crawler. I've got a nickel covered set in a Les Paul and an uncovered bridge one in an Ibanez. They sound slightly different - not only because of the guitar construction but because the Ibanez Crawler is 52mm spacing (slightly higher DC resistance according to Tim) and has no cover. So Crawler would be my first choice - but as you are a "Mule Man" I would not put money on it.
Go on show me up and tell me it's an Abraxas :?
-
Its the Abraxas im afraid! Sorry no prise this time.
It can do alot of different tones very well, on "stratosfear" i used it and it did a great funky rock tone.
-
Got the CD today Steve, I have it on now and I'm really enjoying it!! Some really good tunes on it and such a good recording too! You have a really cool style!
What pups did you use for each track? As it's a really good reference as well!

Thanks Steve!
The tones are fantastic! It must have taken a lot of work to put that together, plus all the years of practising and gigging.

Cheers mate.
This album was written and recorded over a four month period in my spare time. Its something i had been meaning to do for ages. I drove my wife mad as i selfishly locked myself away in my recording studio (actually its my conservatory) at any spare moment.
-
4 months is good going. Girls just don't understand do they!
Do ever gig in London with your band Redfish?
