Hey guys,
Made a short clip comparing the Emerald and the Black Dog, in two identical guitars (PRS SE Starla). Emerald first and Black Dog second. To be honest I'm not sure which one I prefer, the Emerald sounds a little more balanced and organic but the Dog has an awesome clarity and bite that embarks an almost Tele-esque character. To be fair I suspect the guitar with the Dog might be a tad more Tele-esque from the get go, but I haven't compared them with the same pickups. Anyway, smoking guitars and smoking pickups! Let me know what you think, cheers!
