hahaha what the hell "BKs seem better for metal", on the UG forums I recommended BK to someone and they said "BK probably have the old school british sound which I'm not into".. I take it they've never heard a Warpig or MM

I've just done my bit for Bare Knuckle in there. Some of those yank kids probably won't be told but you can only try. Give it a bit more time and when one of their heroes use them then they'll realise!

I don't normally post in that one although i signed up a few years ago, too many posters and the posts go off topic, plus they tend to argue.

Edit: It will be interesting to see what they make of them

What I found most irritating in that particular thread was you had to scroll half a page at a time because that all had massive images in their sigs!!!**

Or is just me who gets irritated by that! :)

It's not just you.  I wouldn't join a forum based on that fact alone.

Ditto, it drives me crazy.

If you are using Firefox as your web browser you can install the Adblock Plus plugin and then individually block the sig images if you want.

I just read the title to this and got completely the wrong idea, "plugging" a pickup could be rally quite uncomfortable... You would have a couple of wires to help retrieve it if it got stuck tho I guess.

Oh, and hello everybody!  :)

Well sambo, if your purchasing of expensive/pointless headwear accessories is anything to go by, I wouldn't have thought it was a secret lair of death... lair of something maybe.. but not death..  :?

I'm plugging BKP's whenever I can. When I post a review of one of my BKP equipped guitars for example. I've also recently signed up on the Gretsch forum. I'm always advising BKP's when someone needs a new set of pickups for a non-Gretsch guitar. There are many P90 fans on that forum and BKP makes the best P90's out there.

I won't try to force BKP's down their throats. If one or two of them decide to give BKP a try, the word will spread quickly enough.

Yep dial up sucks... especially when people have animated avatars.

Man you wanna see how long it takes to pull a page up if Dakine has post 6 or 7 times on the same page

shouldn't matter if he's posted more than once on a page because the web browser will automatically replicate it across the page, so that it only loads once
