hello everyone, I bought an ibanez rgr5221 prestige series guitar. The pickups of the guitar are bkp brute force. What style of music can I do with these pickups? can i do black metal doom metal? What are your views on brute force?
If I can't get the music I want with brute force, which pickup would you recommend for black metal and doom metal?

Hi,
The Brute Force bridge and neck both utilise a Ceramic magnet. The bridge DC Resistance is 15.1k and the neck is 13.4k DC Resistance. You should find these pickups absolutely fine for what you're playing.
If you did feel they do not have the bottom end you need, I would recommend taking a look at the Warping humbucker too - www.bareknucklepickups.co.uk/warpig
The Warping is specifically designed for the Doom, Death metal and extreme metal styles so you certainly wont have any issue with those.

Thank you for your answer. then i have to work with these pickups a bit more. I think I couldn't get used to the pickups of my second guitar when I compared them to Seymour Duncan Blackout. I should try some more. I actually liked the unique and beautiful pickups of brute force pickups. If you say it's suitable for black metal, it's okay.
