Just bought some Ltd ed Emeralds of HJM(second hand)
Am going to put them in my bluesbird..see pic although mine is actually a bit darker than in pic

thats gonna sound like the bitch man! i'm excited about hearing some clips! :P we're in desperate need of Emerald sounds on this forum as you probably know. Love the tone on that song :) Hope you enjoy them

yup need more emerald clips....will try and supply but ain't a good guitarist just love playing and like to have the right sound...for me

I know the feeling - I'm a pretty shitety player myself; and sometimes when i see really great players with worse gear than me i feel kind of guilty... But i've been thinking about it and i've decided it's okay because i know i enjoy playing more than them :P and having nice gear inspires me to play more and get better. 8)

Yup think the same....the guild bluesbird was a bargain(less than half price) not something I could usually afford, but goes nice with my gibsg(Crawlers), parker fly(Nailbomb 2 irish)and my bass, sixstring and twelve string accoustic.
As I see it I ain't great but enjoy playing guitar and would rather spend on this than other things like getting p****d every weekend or turning my car into an oversized meccano kit *L*

Agreed.

I'm pretty pleased when my wife and dogs don't run from the room in obvious sonicly induced pain. :roll:

Occassionally I'lll even get the treat of being told that "sounded almost like music, dear." :)

I just had an interesting covo on the phone with a woman (a real one!) who is a music teacher. She plays the flute in an orchestra too and her one is solid silver and cost 4.5 grand! Her mate's just bought a cello made in the 1800's for 18 grand! So what we spend on gear is small change really so that means gas is great!!! I'll have a Zemantis with solid platinum covered Crawlers then!

Yeah at music live last yeah had a comp with my friends who could play the most expensive instrument....I won think it was just short of £45,000

That's serious money for a fiddle! I've got one with a split in it that someone gave me. I can't get a single note out of it!
