so let me go straight into specs just to explain, theyre both pro mod dk24 with hh pickup configuration
1st charvel: mahogany body, maple neck and fretboard, bolt on, schaller lockmeister (upgraded), bridge pickup is duncan full shred, neck pickup is duncan alnico 2 pro
2nd charvel: okume body, maple bolt neck, aged ebony fretboard, floyd rose 1500 (got it with it second hand,i know it isnt stock), bridge pickup is duncan full shred, and duncan jazz neck.
now for the 2nd charvel i did think of putting the pickups nuno uses since it reminds me of the n2 and n4.
but id still like to hear bkp recommendations for it.
now i dont like the full shred, the alnico 2 pro could use some more output and it is squishy when i do shred solos or fast leads, the jazz pickup i do like but i think it be better in another guitar so i pulled it out for it.
genres i play are thrash and groove.
would also like the neck to do nice cleans and crunch.

Hi!
We love the Holydiver bridge in this type of guitar, it's got a fairly bold midrange, weighted a little more strongly into the lower mids, which helps to create balance and depth in a brighter superstrat. In the neck position, the Holydiver neck is fairly close to the Jazz, although it has a little more of a crisp edge to the pick attack, really popular alternatives to give a different blend would be either the emerald neck, which has a softer attack and a little more roundness in the highs, or the Cold Sweat neck, which has the crisp, articulate pick attack of Alnico v, but with a smoother response from the midrange and up into the highs, giving it a very fluid feel, great for very consistent solo tones and smooth, jazzy cleans.

yeah i already got some holy divers after hearing it in a friend's charvel, waiting for it to restock in my local store, as the pickup instanlment is included if i buy the pickups form them and install the pickups in their store.

Which single coil space pickup is the closest match for a cold sweat?

We don't make any singlecoil-sized humbuckers , but the Cobra would be the best true singlecoil to get close to the feel of a Cold Sweat neck, for sure. It's really smooth in its delivery of power and does a pretty good job of impersonating a humbucker!
