Title: Steve Stevens Severn XF humbuckers
Post by: andrewt on March 05, 2024, 08:19:43 PM
Steve Stevens has a Knaggs Severn model which is a super strat style guitar with 25.5” scale, maple neck, Floyd Rose locking system, etc.. It has two custom model humbuckers from Bare Knuckle. Anyone know anything about the specs of these?

The Rebel Yell Bareknuckles are his signature pups, so it could be them.

I don't think so. He has two signature models with Knaggs. One is Knaggs version of a Les Paul, and it definitely lists that guitar as having Rebel Yell's.

The Severn model says they are custom wound Bare Knuckles, so they may well be a variation of Rebel Yell's to suit a 25.5" scale guitar with a different wood recipe to LP style guitars. Or they may be a variation of Holy Divers or some other set. I was just curious to know whether any Bare Knuckle people knew anything about them.

The custom wound Knaggs humbuckers with 2 rows of screws are an adaptation based on the Holydiver, so that's definitely the closest reference point - between that and the Silo.

I'm pretty sure those are custom models with "secret" specs

not sure if they are more like mules or like hotter models
