Hey! I made a much more detailed thread earlier but it got deleted. Basically just suggestions for someone who wants to play high gain metal, but needs a pickup that's not a one trick pony. My prs has a rosewood fretboard, flamed maple neck and mahogany body. I don't prerend to go to the extrelemly low tunings either. Wss thinking black hawks or silos, but any other suggestion is welcome! Thanks once again.

This was my original question:
"...Hello there! As the title says, I need some opinions on what set of pickups I should install to a PRS Custom 24 Wood Library with Floyd Rose. It has a Brazilian Rosewood fretboard, flamed maple neck and a mahogany body. I'm playing mostly metal, so I need my pickups to be aggressive and articulate for high gain playing, but not a one trick pony. I want them to be able to cleanup nicely if I need to and to be able to sound good playing cleans, some jazz and some lo gain overdriven tones. All suggestions are welcome, I was thinking maybe on the silos or the blackhawks, but I haven't tried any of those, so I'm blind guessing and basing my thoughts on what I've heard. Also, I haven't tried the PRS \m/ pickups either, so I might end up liking them who knows, I just want to be educated enough to take a good decision if needed. Thank you very much! I'll gladly post pictures of my little baby once it arrives! Cheers!.."

If you don't mind the looks, then I'd go with a set of Alnico Blackhawks, every guitar I put them in, they just work. Or, I'd put into the play a A-Bomb as well, in mahogany it's just bliss.

Oh I actually dig the blackhawks lol. Love how radical the blades look!
