Muses new song Knights of Cydonia was recorded at Dundee recently. Most of Matts new guitars have BKP's in them, I would not be surprised that what you hear in this recording are Nailbombs.

Amazing song!
Infact here is the guitar, and this thread should me moved, sorry D:
BKP staff, if you at all remember installing the pickups on this guitar, could you fill us in? It is not his "bomber manson" with b52 rivits in the body and a purplely bluey paint job, but a new one.

We didn't fit the pickups, but we did send them to the studio he was recording in. He used Misissippi Queens, Mules, Nailbombs and a few more I cant remember... So its hard to say what he is playing on that particular song!

In another song called Supermassive Black Hole (lol.) live, it's obvious he's using two of the Queens. Manson built a guitar that has both of them right next to each other. It sounds really heavy evil, but bluesy and single-coil like. Pretty wicked.

Not another new Manson guitar!
...im getting anoyingly jealous now

Man the second half of that sounds $%ing awesome...i'm pretty sure the vocal line he is singing in the beginning is where the trumpet is supposed to be. SMBH the pickups sound pretty thick, sounds good live.

Not quite. I read an interview with Matt in Guitarist magazine back in 2002 (or maybe early 2003) When he took along his entire Manson collection for photo's and chat, and they included the Manson with trem. Still, it's a nice guitar, and even nicer now he'd ditched the Kent Armstrong, Seymour Duncan and Rio Grande pups in favour of BKP's :D

are you thinkin of the bomber manson?

No, in the article he had the original Black Manson with midi strip for the whammy pedal, the Aluminium "industrial disease" Manson, the cracked mirror and laser Manson, the Bomber Manson, a 7 string, and the trem Manson pictured above.
Spot the Muse fanboy. Erm. I'll be leaving now then ;)

industrial disease = Rust relic. It was sold because he was having another guitar built with a floyd rose and FF built in. I think that "other guitar" is the one in that picture.
