Title: Are these OLD Mules or Stormy Mondays?

I got a set of pickups used. Seller said they were mules. I just measured them and they measure at 7.7 bridge / 7.1 neck...
That seems very low for Mules.. matches the Stormy resistance perfectly. I'd be happy with either but I am curious.

I will install them and should know then.. but I've seen on old threads where the Mules had Alnico 2 before.. so maybe this is an older set of Mules? Were they wound lower back then with different magnets?

Anyone with knowledge of the older Mules would be a blessing. Thanks.

With those figures, they will be Stormy Mondays - regardless of any differnt magnets used in a Mule, the winding spec has stayed consistent over time, so you would definitely see higher readings with a Mule set
