Hey.
I scored a Gibson SG firebrand off ebay, and it has some cheap after market humbuckers.
I'm definetly going to replaced them with BKP's, but I'm not sure which kind would be best. I usually play stuff anywhere from Hendrix to Muse...So it needs to have a fair amount of output, but not too much.
I was considering The Mule, as it's close to the PAF, isn't it?
What do you guys think? :)

I'd go for a Mississippi Queen neck and Abraxas bridge. I see from your sig. you have a MQ already, so if you don't wanna double-up then I'd suggest a pair of the Abraxas pickups.

You might want to try Riff-Raffs in the SG. A little brighter than the mule and just a touch more drive. With the all mahogany SG, I think they will give you the PAF sound that you want, with all the clean tones.
