Title: advise on pickup choices for a newbie needed!

Hey everyone, just looking for a bit of collective knowlege from all you clever folk out there :P  well I suppose i'll start by telling you my rig:

 im currently playing through a Marshall AVT275 and a Marshall JCM2000 DSL 100 with a Fernandes Ravelle Elite.

 Im a huge fan of classic rock from AC/DC to Guns n' Roses, you name it, and i suppose im just really looking for advise on what type of pickup would suit that genre best, im really looking for the slash kind of sound as im in love with the guys tone.  pweeeae help guys!

Stormy Mondays would be your best bet; with AlNiCo II magnets, and very low output, for true PAF sound. Slash all the way. For something slightly hotter and more versatile try the Mule. Personally I'd mix 'n' match for versatility and go for a Stormy Monday neck with a Mule Bridge. welcome to the forum and good luck on your quest for tone. 8)
