Hey all, new here, got a question to ask.
I have a 7 string mahogany BC Rich, and I'm looking for a nice crisp tone for the bridge, but a much warmer bluesy sorta vintage sound in the neck.
I've a 6 string BC Rich with a Seymour Duncan Distortion pickup in the bridge, and a '59 model in the neck. This is nearly perfect, but i find the neck to be a little 'pooey' when used with a high gain sound (I use a Marshall JCM2000 DSL100 head and 1960A cab). I'm a fan of Gilbert-esq fast picking, so this is a problem.
I've been eyeing up the Warpig, but i'm not sure if it's exactly what I'm after. I play everything from thrash metal to pink floyd stuff, so I'm looking for versatility.
In addition to this, how much are the 7 string models, and do you offer gloss black metal covers for the extended pickup? If at all possible (although I'm unsure if this affects the tone or not, not much of a pickup boffin, I just play the thing :D ), without the holes for the screws to come through, i'm looking for plain gloss black.
Thanks all!

oh, forgot to add, the 7 string has a floyd.

A Nailbomb 7 would be great for this-they're £99 and available in black coils only(I don't know of anyone ofering 7s with a cover). We've made alot of these and the tone is very articulate and full-check out the players room for clips.

Here's a clip with Chris Broderick and Jeff Loomis. Broderick's 7-string - according to Steve - is probably loaded with his Nailbombs.

Hmmm...Sounds good to me! What about the neck then?
And anything at all that is associated with Jeff Loomis, no matter how remote, HAS to be awesome. Haha even if they're not his pickups! That is an incredible vid.

Jeff Loomis is amazing.
