Title: Epiphone's Got Wood!

Well, it seems epiphone has finally released a Les Paul model with the correct woods in place. Mahogany body and neck, rosewood fretboard, plain maple top :D
It seems that it's cheaper than the regular flame-topped epi lp std, going by prices on American websites ($400.vs.$500), as i can't yet find it available in england. Very tempting axe though, and the plain-top on it has a great vintage vibe. 8)

i've had two epiphones that were quoted as having mahogany necks, but were definately maple.  on one hand, not as advertised, on the other, they are actually both quite good little guitars!  well, i say little, one's a double neck...

I'd take the guitar back to where yu got it from. they can't mis-quote what its made of surely!...
You can't sell someone a solid mahogany table thats made of laminated maple and poplar, so why should it be different for guitars?

MIJ Greco's seem to be going for pretty prices on ebay lately- i think if i were going for a LP i'd have one of those rather than an Epi...
