This one is annoying the hell out of me so I'd be grateful for any help :)
I've convinced myself that there is a single word (possibly Italian) that means/describes that a piece of music has an identical or very similar intro and outro.
Does anyone know what it is? or even if there is such a word :) I'm not sure!!

Outroasintro - if that aint a word it oughta be.

Gah! Now you've got me wondering! I can't think of what it could be. the only thing that has anything to do with the beginning of a song and the ending that's coming to mind is da capo al coda, but it doesn't mean what you're asking about.
Hmm. Lo stessi means the same as, so you could just make up your own musical term--it might even be the one you're after.
da capo lo stessi al coda
There. :)

I like it!! Try saying it with a strong italian accent you could fool anyone.
