I've been tinkering with the site recently, after neglecting it for a while due to lack of time. I've noticed theres a few shred-related websites that seem to be popping up, for the first time Shredaholic's hit ratings haven't increased every month. So it's got me wondering and wanting to do a bit of 'market research' so to speak (although it's not really a market since the site is free...) to try and get more people to check out the site.
I've upgraded the navigation bar as some people's browsers couldn't load it, about 60% of the pages on the site now have the updated nav bar (it's taking ages to install). There's 2 new album reviews up this week, and we should have a review of "Liquideyes" up ASAP. What else should we add/change on Shredaholic? New lessons? New articles? Change the format - if so, how?

give out free air guitars ;)
nice site btw, never seen it before?!

lol we've actually had a recent competition for winning a glow in the dark paint job, I can't wait to see how the winner's guitar turned out. The site's been going since Dec '04, me and my friend Niczy run it in our spare time. It's been hard finding time to update/change it due to exams at school, but hopefully I should be able to get a lot done with it (pending any recommendations!) this summer.

CD Reviews.
I know that this is extremely time consuming, but you should have em, even if it means having outside people do em.
-
You mean more CD reviews, or branching out into different genres with CD reviews?
We've got steve's new instrumental CD coming next on the reviews page, and I added 2 others this week. I usually don't have time to do website editing and CD reviews, but Richard Niczyperowicz who runs the site with me enjoys doing the reviews and has done quite a few. So far we've done mostly instrumental/shred album reviews, but we'd gladly do reviews of bands (rock, metal etc).
Here's all the ones we've got up so far:

ignore the Van Halen one, it's something I found on my computer that I did for some website when I was 14, lol.

just a note, you could update the Nuno Bettencourt bio with mention of his work with Perry Farrell & Satellite Party.
