Hey-appreciate any help you guys can give me!
I've decided on an abraxas in the neck of my les paul-alike (santana tone, please!) but I need a bridge humbucker. I play in a jam-orientated band and we cross between santanary style stuff and Neil Young down-by-the-river ish jams.
What would be a good match for the abraxas to get that sounds?
...is it possible!?
cheers
chris

Rebel Yell or Crawler should be nice ;)

How about an Abraxas bridge pickup?

How about an Abraxas bridge pickup?
good idea!

+1 on the Rebel Yell, would sound really good in the LP, and would be different enough to give you the wider range of sounds.....probably

:D + 1 on the Abraxas !
:D 8)

Though the Abraxas bridge is in some ways the obvious choice, the Crawler bridge would give more grunt for some Neil Young rawkousness (and the Crawler neck is basically the Abraxas neck anyway). The Rebel Yell/Abraxas pairing could be interesting, though!

more research need on crawler+rebel yell i think, but the rebel yell ray gun cover is worth the price on its own :P
thanks for the suggestions

Check the pics of the Rebel Yell in the Gallery: http://bareknucklepickups.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3840.
They've got little '50s-style ray gun images engraved on them 8)

Damnit I would have got some of those had I known I could!
I wonder could I have got a "Frank Zappa" set with Titties and Beer on them? :)
