Hello...
I'm in need of a bridge humbucker for a B.C. Rich Speed V that has these specs:
25.5" scale length
Neck-thru construction
Maple neck
Alder wings
Ebony fingerboard
Kahler 2315 tremolo
It has a single humbucker at the bridge, with a single 500k volume pot (no tone).
Does Bareknuckle make a bridge humbucker that can dish out tight 'n chunky rhythm crunch, searing lead tone, AND clean tones? tall order, I know. the clean tones don't have to be squeaky jazz/country clean, just clean enough for song intros and whatnot.
I'm into old-school 80s thrash/speed metal like King Diamond, Annihilator, Testament, Exodus, Possessed, Megadeth, Kreator, Metallica, Slayer, Metal Church, etc.
Thanks.....Mike

look no further than the Miracle Man !!

Yeah my miracle man is great for old (and new) metal, and the cleans are definitely good enough for song intros (like on night crawler).

Another vote for the Miracle Man.

thanks for the fast replies. sounds like the Miracle Man will be first on order!
one thing I forgot to mention: I'm looking for a fairly bright tone for cutting through. I love bass, but tight and controlled bass.
in other words, I don't like that real dark and woofy guitar tone, but instead I prefer that bright & crunchy (but heavy) tone that doesn't sound muffled or mushy. Jeff Waters' tone always comes to mind in this regard.
overall, is the Miracle Man bright or dark or ???
thanks again...Mike

the miracle man's bass response is lightening fast and very powerful, and it definately has a very clear top end. I'd imagine it would sound balanced toward the brighter end of the scale, as you'd like, in your guitar.

This is the tone that i've been searching for really, i love 80's thrash/spedd metal, you have great taste man!
-
+1 for Miracle Man, masses of power but stil retains plenty of cut in the highs.

Mine's a beaut - that stuff's all I play with it :)
