Post by: Searcher on June 02, 2006, 06:37:53 PM: Yeah? I haven't used EB strings in forever. I have a set of BKPs coming, so I don't wanna change strings just yet, since I'll have to do it when they get here anyways. Maybe I can dig out my old Martin string cleaner and see what that does with it.

I suppose I should change the strings though. I was gonna do a before and after set of clips and it wouldn't be quite fair to have the old pickups matched with the old strings and the BKPs with new strings. Waste of strings though! Gah!

It turned out they did'nt finish with the fret dressing. It was like liquid metal coming off the fretwire. Could it be that? Check your shirt/pants, too> :?:
