Hi Everyone,
My first post here. (Have patience with my english I´m from Sweden)
I´ve been recomended Bare Knuckle Pickups on a swedish guitarforum (I´ve never heard of them before) so I did as I was told and got in contact with Tim and tried to describe my "soundissue" and that I´ve heard a recording of a Mule and was interested in those.
But Tim recomended me the Crawlers for my type of playing instead, and as I was told to listen to Tim, I´ve decided to go for the Crawlers and I´ve just ordered them on his advice!
So...
I´ve been reading almost every post here on the forum but there ain´t so much about the crawlers. I really liked the soundclips though on the productpage.
Any comments about the pickupchoice?
I´m going to replace my Gibson 500T/496R on my Epiphone Heritage LesPaul. (they sounded hash and not enough "tone") I´m a "rocker" and have influences like Tony McAlpine, George Lynch, John Norum and Iron Maiden. So it´s mostly melodic hardrock, but I also want to be able back off a little and play blues and clean stuff (the Gibson´s sounded awful clean)

Hi,
Good choice of pickup, i have them in my Les Paul Std.
Very warm and versatile.
The original pickups in it where the Gibson Burstbucker Pros, which where supposed to be awesome but they where far from that. The Crawlers blow them away.
Steve.

Welcome!
I have just ordered my set of Crawlers as well. They're gonna live in an old Yamaha SG400. It seems the right choise for this guitar. Good cleans, good on high gain, warm and versitile. I can hardly wait to hear 'em in my guitar.

They're a great sounding pickup, one of my fav's on the stand at this years LGS! The extra midrange respnse makes Les Pauls really sing with gain. :guitar4:

I´ve faith in mr Tim, but It´s always interesting to hear other users comments.
