All six of my guitars have BKP's in them. I'm not quite sure how it happened but.....
The only one left is this one.

Warpig with wood cover maybe? :P
-
Definatly a Warpig, but you need a floyd rose fitted as well!!
I know what you mean, BK are addictive.
-
How about a true one coil Pickup, rewound by Tim and with a cool camo cover ??? :D
I think it fits the sound-hole nicely...
-
Tim?

Thats a no then.

Ah man.... :(
Tim, you better hope Steve Stevens doesn't see this thread or you might be doing a Rebel Yell for one of his flamenco guitars. :P
-
What's your favourite Dave?
-
The Mule for the tone and the Nailbomb for the versatilely. Wait, that's two isn't it?

Sadly nylon strung guitars lack the one thing needed to make a magnetic pickup like a BKP work : steel strings!!
It is when a steel string or the steel core of a wound string cuts the magnetic flux field from the magnet contained within a pickup that a voltage is induced in the coils wrapping the magnet- basic principles of a magnetic pickup
I have cringed when seeing ignorant salesmen in guitar shops selling a soundhole pickup to a spanish/classical guitar owner.
It won't work - the only options are microphone or Piezo type pickups

Nice one!
Have you done anymore gigs in L.A since the Whisky one? I liked that post!
What sort of music do you play Dave?
-
My band is a kind of Tool/Alice in Chains hybird. At least that is what I've been told. :P
We're playing the Viper Room Saturday. Should be cool. My first full BKP gig!
-
Cool the Viper Room! Let us know how it goes.
-
Hopefully I'll have better luck than River Phoenix did. :P :(

Sounds like a cool band. Hope it all goes well.
I'd like to go there some day. Did you ever see The Neurotic Outsiders play there?
