Has anyone got any idea how much it would cost to build a workshop in your garden? I want it for recording gear and a weight bench.

depends on how big  you want it.

Out here in Australia I have a 6m x 6m square workshop with double roller doors made of colourbond steel and thats around $5000 Aus.

If you want to sound proof it now were talking $$$
