Hi will SC covers fit on humbucker bobbins. The reason i want to do this is that I get a humbucker with two flat black SC covers on it similar to the lace PU's or PRS 513's.
Also anyone know where I can get matt black ones that are closed similar to EMG's or Kent armstrongs?
Tim do you sell these?

Single coil bobbins are biggerI believe. You could do teh Nathan Sheppard thing and have two singles next to each other.

No, single coil covers wont fit over humbucker bobbins, they are a differnt length width and hight!
From the look of it the PRS one is actually just two single coils put next to each other and wired like a humbucker.
Im not shure if we can get Matt black closed covers, Tim will know.

thanks guys,
I think I saw some for sale somewhere but they seem to be illusive and in short supply :?
Am I able to get SC bobbins without the tabby bits on the base that the strat ones have?

You could cut/grind off the ends, they'd have to be held on somehow though.
I think these are gloss...

Im pretty sure these are gloss. We can get them for you If you need them. You cant cut the tabs off of the bottom because thats what holds the cover onto the pickup. It would just fall off without them!
