I'm going to toss the EMG's in my ESP LTD EC-1000. They cut through like a razor blade but its so flat and compressed. Not to mention, when you turn up the mids, it sounds thin, harsh, and overly warm.

The warpigs have the same output but of course, more dynamic and smoother. Thicker mid range.

With my EMG's right now, I can't turn the treble past 12 (o'clock) without my head bursting. So obviously my amp has a huge treble range. Do you think its enough to really stand out? I'm focusing on rhythm but I will need lead possibilities.

I woulda thought the Warpig would be the evil villain, and Miracle Man would be the hero. Thats just what the names suggest though  :lol:

The Warpig is the king of chug. Still the leads are very smooth and articulate. Pretty thick tone. The leads aren't as piercing and upfront in the mix as a Miracle Man.

Just traded my esp with emg's for a ibanez with a warpig....for the reasons you don't like your emg's....the warpig does deliver

if tim did a mini humbucker version of the miracleman, would he call it kid miracleman?

Hmm, yes, like a P-90 version of the Miracle Man called the Kid Miracle Man :)

By the way, if anyone can listen to "Taking up Serpents" by Byzantine, listen for that really woofing evil tight guitar tone. That's soooo Warpig, right?
