Title: 3 different pickups in a strat
Post by: chrisbellx on July 11, 2006, 09:25:33 PM
Has anyone ever tried this? For example, a sinner in the bridge, slowhand in the middle and apache in the neck. What were the results like? Poor volume balance and in-between positions, or was that not an issue?

Regards

Chris

Once you get past a certain number of turns the most dramatic changes are tonal rather than volume.I've made many mixed sets with great results, Sinners and Mother's Milk for example-miles apart on paper but a great variety of tone on one guitar.
