Arrghhhh
I've been trying to record clips all night. I thought that'll do for tonight, exported audio in the master mixer to a .wav file, checked it in winamp and all i got was the backing track!
Bollocks (great big hairy ones)
I'm going to bed!

Cubase is a great program and the manual is easy to understand (well, most of it...). You only need to read through it once. ;)
-
Cubase is ideosyncratic, just like every other program.
When I went from Sonar to Cubase, I was really frustrated, b/c I handn't learned any of the work-arounds with it. It will take some bashing to get through, the Operation Manual is woefully absent in some information, but with a bit of intuition, elbow grease, and the Cubase forum, you'll be making clips soon enough!!
Edit: I'm pretty drunk atm, so I'll reread this tomorrow and see if it makes any sense!

Benny, I bet you're such a pretty drunk... :gayflag: :bisou: :gayflag:

Thanks for the tips lads. Time. It seems so lacking in my life right now! It's just after 6:00 now and I'm off to work for the morning, then it's out ot Reading to see my new woman. When I get home Sunday night I won't have time and then it's back to Monday.
I had some success with Cubase last year. It's my audio signal. That went off somewhere last night. But where did it go and how do I get it back again  When i hit the record button though, i did have some delay on the headphone monitors as there were two signals.
I'm getting my head around the midi and VST stuff ok.
The cubase forums, I've tried them before and they seemed they were in meltdown!
I'll have a look again in the week, if i have any patients left after work! A sickie could be in order!

Johnny, all is well. I'm just so full of love because I can walk again.

Dave - no getting drunk for a while, we don't need "Broken Leg Blues Mk II" springing up soon :P

Glad to hear it mate!! :D
Does it seem weird?
I'm reading the manual on Cubase from scratch. Jump the gun Johnny methods aren't working with the MF! My mind keeps wandering though, each time I realise what this or that bit does, I go off in la la land dreaming up monster tunes!
