Anyone know which BKP pickups are closest to the stock pickups in a Duesenberg Rocket? I have one of these and was wondering whether I might improve the sound by putting BKPs in though, in fairness, it sounds pretty good already. In comparison with my Mule and SM loaded Les Paul, the Rocket sounds slightly more aggressive and maybe slightly less clear, though the sounds aren't vastly different.
They are described as "Custom Duesenberg Grand Vintage Humbucker and Crunchbucker" but I can't find any more details (e.g. type of magnet).
For reference, the Rocket is alder bodied with a maple top, with twin humbuckers, and is a V shape.
Thanks!

That's a lovely guitar. Got any pics?
I think the pickups are close to VHII's or Riff Raffs, but that's just my wild guess.

You're right - it is a nice guitar. Mine is one of the earlier Rockets, made before they changed the design by shortening the lower body horn so it doesn't look so much like a Flying V. I was told by the dealer that Duesenberg had been asked to stop making the original Rocket by ... well let's just say a big US guitar maker who makes a V shaped guitar of their own! Mine was probably one of the last to be made before the shape changed.

She's a beauty! the new Rockets don't float my boat.
The US guitar maker (law firm) should be carefull. It lost the PRS lawsuit. 8)
