I was doing some browsing (to try and find out more regardinf Dumble amps) and was led to this site as I quite like the tone of the Mesa- boogie Mk 1.
Anyway have a look at the prices and tell me if there is something seriously screwed up with what people are willing to pay ?

I can understand these prices (even if I can't afford them)
Vox AC-30 (early 60s) $3250.00
Roccaforte Custom 18 112 combo $1695.00
These looks like reasionable prices to me (though I could be wrong)
Peavey 5150 Combo $495.00
Mesa-Boogie Subway Rocket $495.00
Mesa-Boogie Mark I $995.00
Then theres this one that I can't figure
Vox Valvetronix 120 $950.00
Would you pay that for the Vox ?

That works out at £517 for the Valvetronix...if it's the 120, that's the VTX model with the Neodynium speakers, which i almost bought for about £450ish before I saw Tim's Screamer at LGS.
But I think that the Mark 1 is under priced by a long way also...£541 - we pay £950 for an F30 here in the UK
Based on these facts, I say you should buy it

Hehe,
Unfortunitely theyre already sold :(
I want to buy it, but it's still not cheap enough :( wtill I should have some money around xmas time (if I get to it before the wife does) and then it may well be Mk 1 time.
I think the amps listed there where all second hand which was why I reckoned the Vox 120 was way over priced. So considering the other amps on that page it looked a pretty poor deal.
