Title: Traffic Wardens!
Post by: Johnny Mac on July 19, 2006, 10:26:08 PM
A fella at my firm today got a ticket in Central London whilst changing a skip (dumpster) in his lorry (truck). What the F*ck is all that about?

When is someone in our so called government or that plank Livingstone find their/his spine and put an end to this ticketing madness?

Bring over Tom Morello, he and his mates could sort it out!

There's no difference.

Edit. I see what you mean. Tom Morello ok wrong dude. I chose him cos' his music is quite angst ridden. Not really paid much attention to the lyrics to be honest as the guitars are too distracting.

Well thats what I do for a living too, his a work mate of mine. If you block the street for 5-10 mins then so be it, my point is he isn't parked. It's a poxy racket.

I know it makes you sick Steve. I wonder how long it will go on for? These guys that they bring in from Africa are just their mislead tax collectors. I had a chat with one once and he told me about their boss at Westminster Council. Some man hating bint by all accounts who screamed at them when they didn't get their minimum targets.

Sound familiar John
I have a carlot next to my workshop that belongs to my landlord who owns a car dealership.
In order to get a car at the rear out for the purpose of selling he had to move 3 cars onto the road to allow access
A traffic warden on a moped stopped and ticketed 3 cars - bloody coward!
No attempt to see what was going on - just "WHAM" - write a ticket

CaffeineJunkie, your brother and my brother would get on famously--mine used to pinch hats from "officials" of any description with his pals- they called the game "Hats off" and used to wear their trophies. Trafffic wardens have always been a pain in the a*se but we used to be able to say that they were  doing a job and were , to a certain extent, curbing the stupid parking that goes on.The problems arose when they were put under the control of local authorities when they became the offensive clueless little despots that they are now. Couple that with stupidly expensive parking and you have a revenue gaining dictatorship. Mutter grumble etc etc

question is what do you do when u steal a hat off a traffic warden who then you realise is a CSO, and before u know it u've got a T5 chasing u around town..

thats when the real fun starts :D
