Title: nut for peavey vandenberg
Post by: Michael A Porter on July 27, 2006, 09:30:33 AM
im trying to find a replacement nut for a peavey vandenberg with the kahler 2700 series bridge.  it is a top mounted nut so hopefully i can get something like that cheaper than what i can through kahler parts.  from what i understand they cant sell the assembly all together you have to but the parts seperately and its going to end up costing me more than id like to spend, id rather spend half as much on a floyd nut and just modify the neck if i had to.  the width at the nut is 1 5/8" (41mm??)

What about a Schaller nut?  They do top mounts and do lots of widths.

most of the nuts i can find wont work because of how the truss rod routing is too wide
