What wood would you say compliments the Warpig best?
Or is it Warpig complimenting the wood, i don't know!
But you know what i mean, i'm just curious, how well do you think it will fair with a basswood body?

I think someone has a Warpig set in an RG here, so basswood should be a nice choice. 8)

I think basswood guitars work best with higher output pickups. Since the natural tone of basswood is quite "lightweight" and neutral it can handle a pickup with lots of power, bass and mids. For example - without getting into a DiMarzio slanging match - lots of people use Tone Zones in Ibanez RGs with (apparently) good results, but I put one in my SG and it seemed to accentuate the guitar's natural middy tone into a huge, horrible boomy mush.
I'm now thinking of putting a Warpig in my SG. I'm a bit worried about the high output, but I guess it should work, since we all know what kind of guitar Tony Iommi plays!

Mahogany!

Basswood for the afore mentioned reasons and also maple-having played Dracs awesome axes at LGS!!

I have a Warpig in a basswood guitar (maple neck). It's friggin brutal! PDT_045

I have a Warpig in a mahognay Explorer (with an MQ neck), and it sounds great there.

I've got a Warpig in an Ibanez RG570 (Basswood) - Perfect IMHO.

I have a pig in a basswood/maple jackson, and the sound is quite comparable in EQ ballance to my 81 in a mahogany (pretty dark sounding piece of it) yamaha SG. Great combination, I'd say.
I'm getting a ceramic pig in 5pc mah/map/walnut/map/mah, 'dense' swamp ash body (near mahogany weight) Legra soon. I'll no doubt have something to say about that when I get it...

What about the Nailbomb and Miracle Man?
Nailbomb works best in Basswood i think, though i could be wrong.
What about Miracle Man.

Miracle Man and Nailbombs are great in mahogany too! Judging by the reviews though, I think that the best wood for high output pickups is basswood. There's a friggin' load of players on the forum with basswood guitars loaded with BK's.
