anyone have jumbo frets in there LP's? I did it and seems like I los some finger space above 12th fret.
-
We often fit Dunlop 6100 up to 15th fret and put the narrower but same height 6105 for the rest - this gives you extra fingerspace
-
I have 6000's on my Artist but no problem as my fingers are rather narrow.

I personally hate jumbo frets. I lose feel and tone it seems in my bends and vibrato, but hey! to each his own right?
-
Hmmm good idea that on the 15th fret with 6105.

I don't like jumbo frets either, but only because they are more difficult to slide over with light strings, i'd sometimes find my finger getting caught on a fret mid-slide. My mate has jumbo frets on his SRV strat, and he's gotten completely used to them, though.

I have a buddy who owns a 1984 Gibson Invader. (LP with bolt-on neck and ebony fretboard) He has never had the frets redone, and they are almost gone. I call it the fretless wonder.
