Title: Rebel Yell Options
Post by: paulburns1984 on August 09, 2006, 06:02:44 PM
Hi, can anyone inform of the aesthetic options available, i pretty much know that i want them covered but not sure about colour or if i want the raygun etching.

The guitar I have is a Cherry Sunburst Schecter C-1+ and it has Chrome hardware.

looks like this...

I think it would look awsome with black covers with engraved ray guns! PDT_001

Paul, just in case you haven't seen it, this thread has pics of the engraved RYs in Steve Stevens' own Les Paul:

I think your guitar would look great with just the plain chrome covers.  But then I'm not exactly known for my devil-may-care attitude.

Black covers with chrome pickup rings would look very cool IMO. 8)

Yeah, I second. Alllllthough...I would say that aged or raw nickel would look cool, as well as plain powdered black covers.

Check out my C1+...
I have modified it with black EMG's and black bridge, knobs, tuners... Well, pretty much everything in black...

I'd be interested to see what the Burnt Chrome covers looked like.  Very nice looking guitar BTW.  :)

I would go with open zebra coils, but thats just because I like them in everything

That specific model of Schecter is a great guitar to play - I've been gasing for one since I played a tasty example in sound control.

Yeah, the necks on the C series guitars are very comfortable and aren't too skinny. I have a C-1 Classic and I absolutely love it's feel.

I bought them a couple of weeks ago and installed them on thursday, quite simply breathtaking pickups. The tone you can get just cannot be compared to any other pickups I have played.

Thanks Tim
