and I walked out with a ESP custom for $350!!!!!
There is some binding missing off the headstock and there's a couple dings in it, but what matters (frets, trem, etc.) are all in good shape.
A little bit of history.... last time I went to the music store for strings (normally I use a local CD shop), I bought a Carvin DC127...

Only thing I don't like about it is the pickups.... now when does the painkiller come out?

Nice one. Are you related to me. I do things like that, I get a glazed look in my eyes and before I know it I have bought something I cannot afford.

my dad does that too, cept he went out for a petrol cap for his lawnmower and came back with a 40ft swimming pool
mum weren't too happy

haha, I never do stuff like that. I prefer to over-analyse stuff for about a year, and then end up buying the wrong thing anyway...

i usually think about things loads, then get my heart dead set on it and go to buy it, to realise that in the time its taken to save up the money, the price has gone up by £100

Where do you shop for strings? I wanna shop there. :D That guitar is totally sweet and I wouldn't mind owning that myself, especially not for $350. Now I want to go buy a guitar.

The 2 local music shops are across the street from each other practically. I got the Carvin at one and the ESP at the other.... it's just a matter of being in the right place at the right time...
I'm trying to decide if I want to put single coils or some hum canceling single coil sounding pickups in it or some mini humbuckers.... I'm thinking the Painkiller, but if I go singles the VHII muight get it, but I want this one to have sometihng loud and aggressive but not as overcompressed when the gain and volume go up as what is in it now (sort of like a Duncan Distortion but much less muddy).
