Hi, Although I have no doubt that this question has been asked before I have scoured the forums and cant find a definitive answer.
A friend of mine has asked me to install two BK humbuckers into his strat.
He already had seymours in there but the configuration on them was a bit weird (guessing it had been wired wrong)
So, basically I could really use a schematic for wiring two four core BK humbckers into a 5 way switch (either version) so we end up with
P1 Bridge humbucker
P2 Bridge Tapped
P3 Both Humbuckers
P4 Neck Tapped
P5 Neck Humbucker
Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.

This gives you the wiring, you will need the 4-pole 5-way switch. Stewart MacDonald, Guitar Electronics, Allparts or BK can supply it.

Thanks Phil,
But what about the extra tone pot?
any ideas?

Try running the tone controls from the switch rather than the volume control.
I havnt use that switch but heres my best guess. The diagram shows two hot wires coming from the switch to the first lug on the volume control. Follow these wires back to the switch where it says 'out' and wire a tone control to each 'out'.

Hi TIm, Wez is right, just take the tones from the switch outs.

Thanks Guys..that all seems pretty straight forward now...
Can't wait to hear those BK's cooking on this strat.
