Title: Cool pedal alert!

MI Audio Crunch Box. Best Marshall in a box I've heard yet, and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg!

There was a thread started about this the other day ... It's titled 'EVH in a Box' or some such.

I wouldn't go that far with it. EVH in a box? I wish! :P

Me either. However, my HBE Twilight Drive ... it has a lot of the classic EVH vibe goin on!! It's uncanny!

I'm getting a HBE Big D tomorrow so there might be a "Cool pedal" Part II post.

I'm interested in both of these pedals, would be cool to see what you thought of both and which was "better" (tho I'm sure they're both really good). What are its lower gain settings like? I allready asked the guy who started the last thread about it but its always good to get more opinions :)

The big difference is in the versatility; the Big D is 10 ODs/distortion units in one box! When I'm in need of that sort of thing, I use the Big D. The Twilight Drive is very versatile, also, but only has 1 OD on it.
Title: is it hand made

is this pedal hand made or bouitique? that's what I normally go for. It looks well made.

Also got a crunch box the other day together with my Shiva based on forum recommendation.

Been through so many pedals the last months, but a big +1 on the crunch box, she smokes them all. This pedal is just pure tone and fun and indeed cheap. It's a no-brainer you should have one, too.

I actually think about getting a second one as backup ... seriously!

:D Is there anywhere here in the UK  that`s doing the Crunch box ?

I found some sound samples of it &  it sounds really good
