i´m kinda sad because this killed himself.
But, it was his choice. so, let it be!
i´m just posting this because it was a huge influence for me as a guitarrist.
some of my blackmetal melodies Were influenced by DISSECTION

I saw them on their last gig here in Stockholm, Sweden this summer. It was great and I felt pretty sad that they were gonna end Dissection. The only "black metal" band I listen to. The last record was more than great.
Whatta shame...

Yah, i m not that worried, but i just would like to be able to help him to not commit that act.
it´s a bad thing to do when ONE have such a good band like he had.

I never listened to Dissection, though i listen to that style of music sometimes. But that is a shame.

i saw them at 2005 wacken, not a bad show and my only exposure to them!

going to pick up some of the older cds once i pay for my X Japan and Immortal cd buying binge i've just done on ebay  :roll:


He was a devout satanist and ended his life out of choice, believing he'd accomplished everything he could 'on this plane of existence'... sad in that his fans and friends will miss him.. but he did choose it and was happy at the end by all accounts... well, heres to Dissection!

Yah, thats a weird way to die. i´m not talking about the suicide, but the reasons.
i have no religion.
i make my own rules, based upon some moral preceits.
one of them is "always play with full distortion"
