I've suddenly come over all American for some reason, lol.
The other week I installed my Apache's in my Fender M.K. sig Strat, they were in place of the Texas Specials.
The apache's have made all the difference and the guitar sounds just like a vintage strat.
Thanks Tim.
Stefan, did you play the C.D.?
-
Thanks for that Steph..............told you they'd do the job :D
CD is excellent,as I've now come to expect from you!

I used my Apache loaded Strat at a gig last night for the first time. It was bloody awesome - plenty of bite and they break up beautifully when driving the amp whilst cleaning up nicely when needed. These are the bad boys to have. 38th found them "most agreeable"

Good news indeed 38th!! I can only agree, they're great pickups.

AAAAAAAaaaahhhhhhh! i am going to rob a bank!! I NEED to hear those beauties!!!! i was even saving for some mules...
I am so in love with my irish tours and tele pickups too (yardbird neck, boss bridge) I am dying to hear them singing!!!!
Ok, seriously:
Tim, if you can, can you make a direct comparison between irish tours vs. apaches? I read every single thing from both but never something comparing each other. If there´s anyone who has both, that could also help. I want to know, just in case i get to rob the bank...
