I changed the Tremolo on an old Tokai Silver Star Strat to a steel block on e and was amazed in the difference it made in combination with the Trilogy Set.
Trilogies can do Mean and Clean
-
They can indeed!.

mmmmmmmm nice

reminds me slightly of Stevie Ray Vaughn PDT_019 , like the uni v effect, what effects did you use? like what setup?

Cheers Crazy_Joe :)
I used the Middle and Neck combined position throughout.
-
Thanks man!
That's exactly what i wanted to hear!
I need to decide on a middle pickup.
-
The decission on the middle pickup gets more confusing with the choice of going RWRP or Stock as apparently there is a difference in tone.
What tone are you trying to achieve Crazy_Joe ?
-
Hey I really liked those chords and the progressions can you tell me what they are and possibley what positions youre playing them in please?
-
No worries Muso
I'm playing a b*stardised version of Riviera Paradise by SRV off his In Step Album
The chords at the start are 9th's starting at the 10th fret and then hammering on and pulling off two frets higher with my little finger on the thin top e string.
The main body of the tune is in major 7ths.
Have a look at this tab for more guidance, but it's not exactly what I played. After the intro 9th's I flick the 7th fret low E string harmonic then
play 7th fret on A string, 4th fret on D String then the G, b and e are played open.
