Used my X V-amp with the Guitar Rig 2 cabs again. I think there was a bit too much gain on the picking bit but other than that I like these tones.

That sounds pretty good to me, sounds quite realistic for a digital setup. What is Guitar Rig 2 exactly? I have the V-Amp 2 and that sounds way better than the tones I get.

Guitar Rig 2 is a software guitar recording bahoojamawotsit. You can download a 30 day demo from Native Instruments' website. I use the amp sims from the V-amp and the cab and mic sims and effects from GR2. Because my onboard sound is cr@p, I have to go from the output of the V-amp straight into the mic input on my PC.
